We decided to discontinue Linux and Mac builds FOR NOW and pick them back up once we get closer to full release or fully released the game.

If you bought the game on Mac or Linux, you can still play your copy on a Windows PC though. Important: The newest updates on dev branch only work on Windows 64-bit. We would still like to see a few more people with low end Windows PC's try out the newest updates, to see how much performance has improved. If you submit your work, add #ATPContestDec to the description/title or to the image itself.Дev Branch has been added and made public, but we recommend staying on public branch, if you don't want to experience unstable builds or game breaking bugs. You can find the rules listed in the image above. Thanks to the people, who have never given up on us.ДЄlways wanted to get your skin added to the game? Here is your chance! However your game will work on Windows or you can switch to the beta Branch Linux/Mac, which contains a copy of the last version of the game. We are aware of some issues regardling replication and dedicated servers not working right now, however we are working on them and will let you know when they are fixed.ДЄlso as we stated in several posts before, the new builds don't support Linux and Mac anymore. A large portion of the changelog got lost due to logistical changes, which unfortunately cost us months of development time. We moved the current build from development branch to public branch.ДЄ lot of changes have been made since the last time we patched this version. We are just making less progress than we would like to at the moment. Sorry for the silence, but we assure you, the game is still being worked on. The ecosystem mode is being worked on by our new programmer, but the multiplayer part of the game will have to be worked on by someone else, who has more experience in multiplayer programming.ДЄlso we recommend looking at our Twitter or Discord for changes, not the steam forums or news.

Once the majority got sorted out, we will release a larger patch that also includes all other changes such as new map locations, new dinosaurs and potentially an early version of the ecosystem mode. The amount of programming issues we are dealing with at the moment are preventing us from releasing new patches. Until this problem is solved, players will have to host their own listen servers (make sure you meet the minimum requirements ant have a good internet connection). We tried to host a few servers through Pingperfect and our internal server host, but the issue remains. That includes issues with hosting dedicated servers. We are dealing with a couple of problems in our code, since our old programmer Deathlyrage abandoned the project, who basically coded the entire game. There have been a couple of posts asking about dedicated servers. Some sounds will get a rework, especially attack sounds. Hunger will be enabled as soon as underwater eating is implemented. Hunger and thirst are disabled for aquatic creatures. They are still heavily being worked on, but playable. Here is a short video of the new additions and changes that have been made with the last patches.ДЄquatic animals are available for testing on development (beta) branch!

These are issues, which can only be fixed through an engine update, which will happen at a later point in time. We are aware of the bugs that let you move and partially attack during resting and sleeping. We also fixed some minor issues which got introduced with the last patch and did some small performance improvements. Head turning has been added to the beta branch 'development' and is awaiting testing.

Some additions are still incomplete, but being worked on and improved over the coming months. We pushed all the changes that were being made on dev branch to public branch. Please let us know, if you are still experiencing issues. We just rolled out a small patch, which hopefully fixed the error. We have already mentioned it a couple of times on Discord, but here is the official statement about the future of Archotek (Read Me): ДЄ couple of demo players reported having problems joining servers. Only accepting reviews of games played/recorded on Linux Submition needs to be reviewed before it it will show on the game's webpage!
